Dr. Kara is Teaming Up With Dr. Ursel to Provide a New Service to Patients!
In the last few months, Dr. Kara has teamed up with Dr. Peter Ursel, of Lindsay Ontario, to provide a new service for his patients in the Whitby/Oshawa region.
Dr. Peter Ursel is a vein specialist with over 20 years experience in varicose vein remedies. He practices in Lindsay, Ontario and was one of the first M.D.'s in Canada to perform Endovenous Laser Treatment. This is a new treatment that has largely replaced vein stripping for large veins. EVLT can be done in less than 1 hour and you can return to work the next day.

Dr. Ursel will now be working with Dr. Kara to provide varicose vein diagnosis and treatment for patients in the Whitby / Oshawa area. He will see patients in Dr. Kara's Whitby office and then schedule treatments out of Dr. Kara's facility.
Dr. Ursel performs both injection treatments for smaller veins and EVLT for larger veins.

JUVÉDERM® with LidocaineThe new formulation of JUVÉDERM® injectable gel contains anesthetic so you will feel more comfortable during treatment. Lidocaine is an anesthetic that is commonly used during medical or dental procedures. In the past, surgeons would often mix lidocaine into a dermal filler before injection. Now the latest products are being manufactured with the anesthetic already contained. Your plastic surgeon can still use the traditional pain-management techniques for a comfortable treatment.
