He was awarded the Irving Heward Cameron Gold Medal of Surgery for being first place in his class. Dr Kara is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada as well as a member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Kara recently received a certificate from the Mentor Corporation for being one of the top five surgeons in Ontario for breast augmentation in Toronto.
